Today we went to an area mini zoo and park with my cousin Alli and her 1-year old daughter, Evelyn. We had a picnic first, then checked out the animals and played on the many park structures. It was a great way to spend the great-weather-day.
However, after saying goodbye and walking towards are car, we were greeted with this:
This is the back of our car and the culprit is very likely a stray ball from a nearby golf course. Though inconvenient and costly, the problem is resolved now. It was interesting to see the responses of each of the kids, though. Here they are:
WILL: instant tears and wishes that daddy was here (what? like he could fix the problem any better than me?)
PAIGE: consoling Will and asking ~794 questions about how this could have happened and what we're going to do and why this happened to us :)
COLE: Mommy's car craaaaash. Mommy's car brooooke.
