Illini Weekend!

You know you've had a good time when you get home late and your youngest is crying in delirium while admitting he doesn't know why he's crying, but he can't stop.  Worn. Out.

We traveled down to Champaign to watch our Fighting Illini win tailgate.  Being homecoming weekend made it extra special because many alumni were present and the fanfare was probably better than normal.  Chief Illiniwek even made an extremely rare appearance!

With about twenty of us, the kids enjoyed a hotel pool swim and the ability to run around the tailgate area. Adults enjoyed food, fun, and the overall environment.
