We had a great weekend overall that included:
- Some more Christmas shopping done (not on Black Friday. Rich worked and no major deals spoke to me)
- A true thanksgiving feast at my parents' house. I lovingly refer to it as the Thanksgiving Bistro in that they carpeted, heated and table & chaired their garage to serve ample quantities of great food to 30+ people. It was awesome and beautiful, as was seeing some family I rarely get to see!
- Christmas decorations were hung with limited curse words.
- Much concern that Rich's dad spent the holiday in the hospital due to severe referred pain from a back injury. Super happy to hear he is on the mend and hoping it continues.
- Family night at the movie theater (Cole's 1st!). We saw Tangled and loved it. Just enough funny to keep the boys interested and a neat story. Cole did great and loved the popcorn (we even went back for 50 cent refills!), Will had to hold my hand in parts, and Paige can't even bear to speak of the part where there was bloodshed. Yes, animated. But she admits that she "really just can't handle any violence." :)
- BEARS game on Sunday for Rich! And a win!

Sounds like you enjoyed your Holiday weekend to the fullest and we have our hands up for Monday off, too!
