We have been wondering if Will has any good friends at school. He isn't as verbal about his interactions as Paige was and we only hear bits and pieces that clue us in. I know that there is a boy named Zack that he tends to play with. Then, he was speaking of Zack one day and said, "And you know what? Zack and I were talking and we both like A1!" (I'm slightly embarrassed of the number of times I've mentioned A1 on my blog).
Then, today I got to chaperone a field trip where, sure enough, Will and Zack hung out together much of the time. So, apparently you know it's a true friend when you share the same taste in steak sauce! There you have it!

Will, I like A-1, too. But my kids have NO idea what it is because we never serve them steak :)
Oh Karen! You cracked me up with this one!! Have you tried the new thicker A-1? It's really good! I'm glad Will has a friend to hang out with.
Oh, I am truly laughing out loud! How the heck did A1 come up? OH, the many topics boys can bond over!!
Um, Karen? Never, EVER, apologize about A1. Talking about it...thinking about it...using it...
It's, like, the nectar of the gods. :)
i'm glad will has a friend w/ good taste:)
At least he says "A1" correctly. I remember my mom telling me a story about Aunt Cheryl reading "A-one" as "ay-oh-knee". Priceless.
Oh man...I haven't had A1 in years! Must put that on the shopping list...so good on mac & cheese (seriously!) I have to share that I was working the Valentine's party for Logan's class. He and his friend Kevin were talking about their addresses (trying to arrange a playdate) Kevin was all like "my address is 554 too!" and I was just thinking "sure it is kid..." I checked the address list when I got home and his house number IS 554 as well! CRAZY! I think A1 is a more substantial bonding topic though...addresses are randomly assigned numbers, but steak sauce...well that's just good taste!
