DEFINITION: the sense of the relative position of neighboring parts of the body. It is the sense that indicates whether the body is moving with required effort, as well as where various parts of the body are located in relation to each other.
Let it be known that my theory is that Will (and probably all children in different levels of severity) goes through times where his proprioception is simply...off. I blame it on a growth spurt or maybe sleep patterns being off, but here is what it looks like: multiple bumps on head, bitten tongues, stubbed toes, falls out of bed, ideopathic pains, missed steps, and spilled drinks.
As you might have guessed, he's going through one such phase and I have a desire to surround him with bright orange caution cones until it passes! It should...soon. In the meantime, we're going to have to put off hair cuts for a few days on account of the goose egg on his head may cause some difficulty getting a good cut...and more pain for him!

i always wonder if people are wondering what i do to my children during these times.
Lauren seems to be going through something similar. She falls down more than any human being I have ever known. She has busted her lip open twice in two weeks. Poor little guys!
