Did you know that...

  • The past tense of "know" is "knewd," not to be confused with "nude."
  • If a small area of your body is hurt it is correct to refer to it as a "little piece of hurt."
  • Cole can reach the permanent markers with the help of his step stool?
  • Anything remotely hairy or stringy is referred to as "kkkkkk" (that's his catch-all phrase for anything gross) to Cole, inlcuding things like velcro or worn-out tags on clothing
  • If demands are repeatedly whispered instead of spoken, they are not to be considered demands, but rather, sweet nothings.

I knewd that "kkkkkkk" meaned gross/icky stuff, but I never knewd about the little piece of hurt. I used to have a little piece of hurt. But then she turned 20 and became a giant... :)

Today I learned that the past tense of "worn out" is "wornded out". As in "we ran around a lot at school today and it wornded me out"

I love "kkkkk" for yukky stuff. For Lauren, anything gross or yukky goes to the "gabitch" (the "a" pronounced as in "far")...sometimes she crawls on her belly on the kitchen floor, finds what I consider microscopic pieces of whatever, gets disgusted, picks it up and goes straight to the "gabitch"!! Of course, this also includes the obvious stuff like dirty diapers, anything she doesn't want to eat, etc. They're so funny, aren't they? I'm so glad to see that you too give Cole "water time" with spoons, bowls, etc. Lauren absolutely loves playing in the kitchen sink and with a little preparation it works for me too! Amazing how entertaining a little running water and some vessels can be?? AWESOME!!!
