I recently bought a Taylor Swift CD that I love and have been playing in the car nonstop. Paige and I had a baby shower to go to together an hour away so we jammed to the music on the drive. When this song, The Best Day was on I turned it up and told her it was one of my favorites because it was about her mom. You can hear it here (after viewing a brief commercial):

The song goes through her life and brings up different phases of her life by saying, "I'm 5 years old...., I'm 3 years old, etc." And the chorus of the song always ends with, "I had the best day with you today." It's very sweet.
After an all-girl event and a stop for milkshakes on the way home we listened to the CD again and when we pulled into the garage she came up front and handed me a note, as she had been doodling the whole time. I opened it. It had a picture of a flower and said, "I love today. I'm six years old." To me, it was a profoundly sweet gesture and great insight into the depth of her character.
