Corn Maze Days

Sunday, September 20, 2009
This weekend was my sister and her husband's 3rd annual Corn Maze party! They live 5 minutes from this amazing corn maze near Wisconsin. We all go up, team up, sweat through the maze and go back for good food. It is a great fall tradition. Thanks Jamie & Steve!

This year I actually went to the maze, as Cole was 5 months old last year and staying back with him was the best choice. It was hotter last year and the bigger kids got worn out fast. This year, they kept up pretty well and were all about punching their cards at each check point. I don't have any pictures of that actual event as Will fell and cut open an already scabbed knee and so was on my back for half of the time. But here are some pics worth sharing:

Looking down from the deck as everyone makes s'mores

To me, most notable is that Cole slept the entire way home. A record for the non-car sleeper. It was a glorious hour and 40-minute drive!
