This whole week Rich is at a conference out of town. Therefore, I'm on full parent duty. So that the kids don't equate dad being gone with crazy stressed mom, I decided to try my best to squeeze in a few fun things.

These will include a trip to the Halloween store, dinner out, and then I made MERE MENTION of sleeping together, and well, that was probably not smart. Will has slept with us at night I think 1 time. Recently, though, he has expressed an interest in this. Paige has dealt with "sleeping with us" issues in the past and was on board right away.

Tonight was not going to be the night of my choice because Paige has a cough that would keep us all awake and it's a school night for Will. However, Will thought he heard "TONIGHT." So, he was quite upset when I pulled down the covers of his bed. Therefore, I said that if he was still awake when I come up to bed, he can come in with me. (My eyes were bright and promising as my head was thinking, yeah, right.) I went into my room to change and when I came out to go downstairs to start my evening, here was Will with his pillow, "I was still awake!" Really? Like, you didn't fall asleep in that 2 minutes? Well, then by all means, climb into my bed! NOT! He's sleeping now...in his bed. Maybe tomorrow night.

That's my boy. Classic Will. Wisco is great, but raining like crazy. I hope my lecture tomorrow is not as boring though as some that I have been to today. Tell the kids I said hi and love you all. Talk to you later Kar. --
