This is funny. Remember my whole hypothesis on sleep? Well, it's a funny thing. It apparently follows the rules of Murphy's Law (Murphy's law is an adage that broadly states: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong" according to wikipedia).
That night, we had a strong storm roll by in the very early morning hours. This was a confounding variable for the test of my hypothesis so I couldn't report accurately. Then, I had 8 a.m. dentist appointments for the big kids today (which meant estimated time of departure 7:30 a.m.). According to our schedule PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE SUMMER this would be no problem. Instead, I was awakened by my trusty dog whining by my head at 6:45a.m. quite certain that something was terribly wrong because no kids have popped up yet. (I haven't slept much past 6:15 a.m. since I can remember and it has been before 6 many times recently). Seriously!
