It has dawned on me that Cole is really starting to spit out some words/phrases. (A sign he is a 3rd child - not overly concerned with what may or may not be happening speech-wise and this is probably better because it makes me a less stressed mother). He is definitely the slowest to develop his language than the other two. Anyway, I have noticed the list is getting there. Usually about now I would add this list to his baby book, but currently our house is completely torn up for the purpose of new carpet in much of it so the thought of dragging one more thing out of place makes me a bit nauseous. Here goes:
1. Mama
2. Dada
3. Truck (more like "duh" in a quick way)
4. Where is it? (holding his hands in a "question" manner and saying "wheresit")
5. More (also signs this - in fact, so enthusiastic about wanting more snack tonight that he took his bowl over to the counter, pointed at the empty bowl, pointed at the snack, said "more", then dropped the bowl and signed "more" - now that's communication).
6. Jet (it doesn't sound much like jet, but he's pointing to the sky and we know what he's talking about)
7. Bay-Bay (a nickname for our dog Bailey)
8. All done
9. Uh-oh (more a sing-song of it than actual pronunciation)
10. Oh, and he can also sing "Boom Boom Pow' by the Black Eyed Peas and "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga. He's so over baby music. :)
Surprisingly, "no" is not on the list yet! It will come. Give it time.

Are dance moves included in his singing of the Black Eyed Peas. If not, Jared is readily available for dance lessons. You know he's got moves.
