Today the boys had their check ups (Will - 4 year and Cole 15 month). They did great. Will explained that he was there for the doctor to make sure he was really four. Then, when asked to count as high as he could, he did really well. Well - who really needs 15 anyway? And when he got to 26, 27...he leaned over to me and said, "mom, did I pass 4 yet?" Apparently he wanted to accentuate that number since, after all, he IS four. He weighs in at 38 pounds.
Cole did well, but it was approaching naptime. He babbled some nonsense to the doctor and walked for her. Then...he got shots. This pretty much did him in, but he has been great since - so no worse for the wear. He weighs in at 24 pounds.
Probably one of the funniest moments of the visit was Paige's comment..."Last time I got shots I didn't feel a thing." The nurse who (with a team of WWF wrestlers, I believe) had given her the kindergarten shots, like me, remembered quite differently. I believe both our eyes about popped out of our heads at her mere mention of "not feeling a thing." HA!

didn't feel a thing huh? i think that might be a case of blocking them out b/c they were so bad:) that's not necessarily a bad thing. i wouldn't mind if kenny did.
Paige cracks me up with her selective memory! And sweet Will, making sure he'd passed the test...
We also needed a team of WWF wrestlers to give Norah her shots! Glad we aren't the only ones!!!
