I am SO not going to focus on the fact that Paige is officially never going to have half-day school again after today (except maybe once college rolls around) and that she'll be gone at least 6 waking hours of the day come fall and eat a meal-a-day away from home and probably have homework and probably won't want her cute Tinkerbell backpack anymore and won't tell me near the detail I'll be wanting to hear about her day and will be reading even more readily than she is now. Sigh.
Instead, I'll share this little tidbit I overheard while the kids and I "hiked" the trails at a woodsy area nearby. This is Will and Paige walking up ahead a bit:
Will: I think monsters used to live here.
Paige: No, silly, dinosaurs did.

there there mommy....here is a virtual hug. Sucks that they have to grow up (but you're not getting older....really...we're staying the same age!!)
You AREN'T going to dwell? ha ha Look how much longer that paragraph is compared to your "real post" Just remember - for every stage you miss - there will be one to look forward to with the kiddos :) Love ya!
sad! i'm not looking to full days either, although we have one more year before that happens.
