Then my other friend from college, Nicole, and her family visited for the whole weekend. We lived on the same floor in our dorm and then in an apartment together for 2 years. We now each have 3 children VERY close in age. It was like the ultimate playdate. And did they play! It was so neat to see these children who maybe annually see each other just absolutely enjoy each other's company. It's funny when I look at the pictures, though. Here are Nicole and I when we first met in college - only responsible for ourselves:

Umm, yeah, little hard to get a good shot of 6 kids aged 5 and under. So the activities varied greatly from a visit that doesn't involve kids - but, hey, we probably would have gone to see High School Musical 3 anyway! I know it is difficult to travel for about 5 hours in the car with 3 small kids. So I am so thankful to them for making it! Of course we will see them again - perhaps for a Wii tennis re-match. That's right. Keep that shoulder nimble. Love you!

the trip home super-sucked, but the weekend was totally worth it. i've already (almost) forgotten about the trip back. :)
i'll post tomorrow...tonight, i had to go up to the hospital to snuggle a friend's new baby.
