Cole Update

Today is the perfect day to note the changes we've seen in Cole because of one event that occurred. I put him down on his tummy on a quilt on the floor and very shortly later he was on the kitchen tile! At almost 7 months, he is scooting around like crazy! (Note: this by far beats big brother and sister). He gets up on his elbows and knees and rocks, so I'm sure crawling will come soon! He is also babbling with his favorite phrase being "ba-ba-ba-ba."

Probably most notable is his demeaner. It seems we went from colic -> teething -> first cold with barely enough happy time in between to consider him "easy going." This week has been different. He has been mostly smiles (especially when big sibs will put on a show), and even when he is fussy he can be distracted at least for a while. We are so excited to see this and can't wait for more personality to come out. Right now he is mostly amused when someone hurts him/herself - what does that mean?
