Fall Leaf Day

Wednesday, November 5, 2008
My parents instituted a fall leaf day today! Because they have a large yard with many 30+ year old trees, it was definitely leafy! (This is not to be confused with a day in which leaves are actually cleaned up, because that did not happen). This included my 3 kids and cousins Riley (almost 4) and Renee (1), grandpa's motorized go cart, a battery powered Jeep, John Deere, and Ford truck and many rakes. Mix together with some grilled hot dogs and a warm and windy day and you have a 10+ on the fun-o-meter! Thanks, grandma & grandpa! I was camera-less this day, but if there are any pictures to be had, I will post.

Oh - I am so way jealous. I was stuck inside until dark today working with a bunch of kids that I am NOT related to - not as fun!! Do you think I could make a descent living as a stay-at-home-aunt??

what a fun idea (especially since you didn't have to clean them up):)
