To Love and Cherish

Friday, October 10, 2008
I'm speaking of how well my two older kids play together. I have to cherish this because I'm not naive enough to think that it will always be this great. And do not get me wrong, there are still daily flat notes in the harmony. They manage to have so much fun playing things that don't even seem much fun to me. Yesterday, however, they got married. Here they are, the happy couple.

Today I overheard them talking and here is how it went:

PAIGE:Will, did you put your stickers on my notebook?
WILL: Um, yeah.
PAIGE: Okay, next time can you not do that? Because I really like this notebook.
WILL: Okay.

Ahhh, pleasantness.

My kids talk to each other just like that, just without all the politeness! Actually, they would probably text that little exchange to one another and I would have no idea what they were talking about!
