Things this Thursday

A sign that summer is still hanging in there! Because we practically reached 70 degrees today the backyard was inviting to the kids, they hiked up their pants and made "mud" (water + sand) and smooshed their feet in it - ahhhhh!

Tonight I went grocery shopping after the kids were heading to bed and Cole was down because it just wasn't working during the day with Cole's naps and Paige needing to get off to school. Here is what I thought of it:

LIKE: the peace, oh, the peace

DON'T LIKE: doing errands at 8:30pm - time to sit!

LIKE: No lines, lots of help

DON'T LIKE: loading groceries in darkness where I can't see which bag has the eggs or if there is someone lurking underneath my car

LIKE: putting groceries away without kids asking to open whatever "treat" we bought

DON'T LIKE: putting groceries away with husband asking to open whatever "treat" I bought

Overall, I'd say it's do-able!
