Last night I hosted a party with some girlfriends in our basement. We do this monthly and it begins after kid bedtime. Rich had the kids up and in bed by the time guests came. Will: asleep. Cole: asleep. Paige: just totally itching to come down and "make new friends" as she put it. She ended up making 2 appearances (all in her glory as my friends ask her about school and comment on her Hannah Montana pjs) before weepily going to bed.
Then today we had a birthday party for a friend. The house was filled with kids and Paige had instantly found a couple pals and was gone. Will stayed within an arm's reach of me asking when we were going home (granted, I am now thinking he might be a bit under the weather).
My point is that though things may change, Paige is definitely the social one (lest anyone doubted that). While Will isn't anti-social, he also isn't one to jump on into any situation. I'm not suggesting one is necessarily better than the other, I just noticed this 2 times very recently here and I'm anxious to see what future years bring.

we definitely have the same situation here: luke like paige, bennett like will. it's funny because bennett is crazy and off the wall at home (and even at grandparents' house, etc) but at a park or a party? no way. he'd prefer to stay near me. and it's not an age thing, either.
don't you wonder what cole and jack henry are going to be like?
i know what you mean. kenny's pretty open and friendly. i'm anxious to see how my luke turns out.
I'm SO enjoying your blog, Kare. It keeps me totally up to date! This must be why you are online daily between 10-10:30 a.m.? I think you may have missed your calling as a writer. Though I know you are passionate about health and nutrition, you really have a gift. Keep up the good work. This is the best entertainment of my day! Love you!
