Why It Was a Pizza Delivery Night

Thursday, September 25, 2008
Let's see...the morning started with my
  • dropping the dog's food bowl and shattering it all of the floor followed by
  • reaching in a brown paper bag in the garage for the dustpan only to stick my hand in an intricate spider web (complete with big brown spider nearby)
  • Complete blow-out diaper from Cole (5 months) (though this was also accompanied by a sigh of relief from me)
  • Visit from the friendly fire department due to my CO detector alarming me that there was explosive gas in the house (***stars for the most exciting moment of the day)
  • Call from Lowe's that the new fridge that was SUPPOSED to be delivered tomorrow is badly damaged and delivery will be delayed
  • Call for pizza

um, yeah. not a good day. i'm guessing that there wasn't actually explosive gas in the house? my kids would be so excited if the fire truck came to our house (if there wasn't a fire and stuff).

This is SO totally cool. Remind me to tell you my spider stories. I have two good ones, and a giant red welt on my belly to go along with one of them! Yuck! I will have to ask my friend Travis about the visit to your house. I'm sure you were the laugh of the day at the OFD. Just kidding! :) Love ya!

I'm impressed!! Even though I'm there for some daily events, like visiting when the fire dept. came, and watching your new fridge delivered....(glad I missed the spider episode!!) I will enjoy keeping informed about the Kelly's!
Love you!

Oooohhhh, Karie! Those are the kind of days when you're supposed to call Auntie Bon! I would have come to the rescue! Next time call me! This is a great idea.
