Tuesday's Tidbits

It has been a good day! Paige is off to school feeling good and the boys have been quite happy and playful.

Of course, there were a few snags in the day. The first came when Will came running upstairs to tell me there is a mouse in the basement! I had him describe its wherabouts in detail before stepping downstairs to see for myself. Turns out it is OUTSIDE in the window well. (Don't worry, Nicole, who will be sleeping down there this weekend). Then while down there playing I noticed a toad climbing the other window well window. It was like our very own small creature zoo! Only Rich will be coming home tonight to close it down - forever.

I was sitting on the couch with Cole when Will came up and started rubbing his head on me and moaning. Having my radar on for any other cases of the sickies, I asked if he felt okay. He said, "yeah, I'm just trying to be a sweetie."
***
I'm trying to work with will on number recognition. He can count well, but does not necessarily know what numbers are when he sees them written. We were reading a counting book today and I was asking him what each number was. He knew three (because that is his age) and he states, "Three starts with me!" Ummm....yeah.
***
Now that I'm trying to get Cole to take bottle more readily, Paige is in her glory helping out!

***
Will is becoming more inventive with his drawing. Here is a picture of him in a tent (might resemble a torso-less alien in a spaceship, but you get it).

***

Cole had his first Biter biscuit (thanks, Sarah, for the dropping them off!). Horray for dinners with a content baby who feels he's part of the action!
