I bought sanity for $10

Lately I've had heart palpitations when going into the bedrooms of the older two.  Their little "knick knacks" are getting out of control and at major risk of getting thrown away in a fit of organizational rage.  Will, for the first time, had a particularly out of control collection.  His collections are of very small things and I know that each of them is important to him.

So, scrapbook organizers (big plastic compartmented bins) were on sale at Michaels and I got him one.  We had made our own a while ago, but being that it was cardboard it didn't hold up to the wear and tear.  This morning was re-org day and when we got to Will's room he was SO excited to put his things in their spots.  He has bouncy balls, favorite coins, pixos he's made, a pound of shrinky dinks and so forth.

So when I went to get him from quiet time I walked in on him playing with his collections and listening to classical music on his CD player.  I sat down next to him and he said, "I love organizing my things."  A little nerdy now.  True.  But his future wife will SO thank me for this gene.
