Knowing Will was awake, I went into his room and opened his blinds. His face lit up. Priceless. Of course, his first thought was to show Paige. I informed him that Paige was still sleeping, but he can be the one to show her. TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR (in case he didn't grasp the idea that she was indeed still sleeping) I reminded him to be quiet until she wakes up.
About 2 minutes later Paige walked in my room. I told her Will had something to show her. She stated in a not-so-enthusiastic tone, "I know, he woke me up to show me." Nice. While I love the excitement, I'm not so crazy about the getting-in-the-way-of-good-judgement aspect of it all.
And tonight Paige worked on a letter to Santa...
Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is happiness and joy! P.S. I hope you like our cookies we leave out for you. Well I don't exactly know how to say this, but I really want to see you, but I am always asleep. Sincerely, Paige
