Daily Celebrations

Thursday, December 3, 2009
Much like anticipation for Halloween, we have a need to celebrate the pending holiday everyday.  Today made it EASY!  So many celebratory events!
1) Got to open door #3 on the chocolate advent calendars
2) Got to watch the rest of Rudolph (that was on TV last night) at breakfast
3) Got to see snow for the first time this season
4) Got to pick out leftover Christmas decorations from great grandma
5) Got to play a game of wrapping items from #4 and giving them to each other (Paige & Will - so cute)

Whew!  Only 20 more days to go!  Whatever will tomorrow bring!?

I had a client today tell me, he was going to the store after speech to buy cookies for Santa - a little early - but I LOVE all the excitement!! On tomorrow's menu...maybe a craft...like cottonball snowmen....lots of glue stick action in that one!!

Door #4!! :) Oh, Jamie!! Can I come and make cotton ball snowmen?? That sounds SO fun! I can't wait until Lauren is old enough to do that stuff. Grandma has a whole list of fun holiday projects just waiting to be completed!

The residents at my work made little snowmen out of foam-like pieces and pasted tiny thermometers on them, perhaps with glue sticks. That's a cute project! And Grandma ventured all the way down into the basement to retrieve some hand-me-down Christmas decorations for me last time we were there, too. Gotta love her. Always giving, all year round!
