I feel like this is what our household has been practically since the start of school. Well, after being home for 2 days this week and going to school 2 days, Paige came home today not herself at all. She fell asleep on the couch with the noise of the boys and myself around her and was there all evening. We're pretty sure at this point that she is suffering from the dreaded influenza. Tomorrow we will go get testing done because we would need Cole to be on an antiviral to help alleviate his symptoms due to his respiratory issues. Will is coughing now, too (but no fever) and handling it like a champ. The cough is tough on Paige with her asthma. Hopefully we can do something to help alleviate that as well. Yes, we had vaccinations, but it seems it was a little too late.
But I thought I'd leave everyone with a little science lesson care of Will. I was kissing/annoying him and told him he was "scrumptious." He said, "I know what that means - yummy." I agreed and he said, "but you can't eat me. Only dinosaurs can eat human skin because it is made of meat." (We've been watching a lot of PBS' new show "Dinosaur Train"...and he's kind of learning something!)
