First, I lost my cell phone in the giant pit of foam blocks at the boys' gym class. I got it back, thanks to the kind park district workers who had to call it 6 times while following the ring tone in the sea of foam.
Second, Will and Rich were in the basement playing just before dinner. When they came up I asked Will what they were playing and he answered, "Nazi." Before I even had a chance to respond to that odd game choice, Rich corrected him, "It was YAHTZEE."
Third, because of Cole's limited vocabulary, Paige has appointed herself his advocate. She came to me and said, "Cole would like to know if he can have more juice." I said, "Tell him no." She returned to say, "Cole said 'no' to that answer." I'm in trouble.
But there's nothing blunderful about this. As promised, we made gingerbread cookies and decorated them tonight. The kids did great and took great pride in each creation. (Sidenote: Cole does not enjoy gingerbread, but DOES greatly enjoy sprinkles.)

Oh, what beautiful creations!! I love their proud smiles!!
Hope today is going better (like that your cell phone hasn't disappeared into another vast pit of foam or anything)!
I love that Paige has appointed herself Cole's interpreter! And that Cole responded to your "no!" So funny.
what kind of games are you playing at your house:)
