Paige is enjoying swimming as usual, too. She's always the one in constant "bobbing" motion. She is at a level where actual submersion is going to be expected in order to pass and she is timid about that, so I'll take the enjoyment while it lasts!

So today Paige had a hankering to do a project. I had just gotten a new Family Fun magazine and they had an outdoor project that involved putting shaving cream in a cookie sheet and smoothing it out. Then, drop food coloring and swirl with a toothpick. Then place a piece of paper in it and make "art." Well, while the result looked COOL right away, they didn't dry too pretty. But really, it wasn't about the finished project as much as the thrill of being able to play with limitless amounts of shaving cream. This even got Will off his monster truck to come participate. Plus, EVERYONE smelled powder fresh!

Zoe's art teacher must have read the same magazine because she did the exact same project at school today - too funny! I'm glad they enjoyed it as much as she did!!
Um, I can't wait to come see you and give those cute kiddos a hug!!!
Yay for Will and swim lessons!
And I'll bring you some applesauce. The marathon is over, and I have lots and lots of apple-y goodness.
Oh, Karen. That's too funny! I get the Family Fun magazine too and was reading it at work yesterday. I told Mom I copied a bunch of stuff out of there that I thought looked like fun for you and the kids to do!! Actually, I omitted the shaving cream one cause I thought it was too messy!! Guess I'll just hang on to the stuff for Lauren! Love you!
I am soooo happy for Will!!
I'm so trying this one...and the one with the sand and shells in the bottle - that looked totally cool!! Yeah for fun moms like you!
