By the end, they were pretty drenched and Will loved to hide in the rainbow "srecet hideout." Even Bailey took a dip! (Okay, she monopolized it for a while and I had to kick her out). It was so fun to hear the squeals and giggles of summer!
One drawback to warm weather + non-walking son is that knees and brick pavers don't mix. Therefore, I fashioned little knee pads for Cole out of too-small socks:

what a crafty mama you are! you should start marketing those on etsy or something!
we got the sprinkler out today, too. the boys had a blast. i took TONS of pictures...now, someday, I'll try to get them posted.
that pool looks like fun!
So darned cute!! Looks like you had a blast! We haven't busted out the water gear yet and I can't wait.
I am dying laughing at Cole's kneepads!! you are too funny. I love this picture - he looks so determined to have fun despite the challenge. Can't wait to see you guys Saturday!
Cole's position in this picture is how Lauren crawls. Her knees rarely touch the floor. She's like a little crab, and so ridiculously cute. And fast. It's amazing how quickly she moves. :)
Also loving the ingenious nature of Cole's knee pads. Very trailer park. ;) Is your bird bath a toilet bowl??
TOTALLY kidding!! (I hope you know that!)
Cole's kneepad = genius!
That water thing rocks!! Looks like a great time for kids AND dogs! :) I remember the summer I had to tie socks around Aiden's knees. Somewhere around here I have a pair of things that slip up on new crawler knees that I bought at Babies R US! I also have a pretty cool website for some other ones around here somewhere....but FIRST, I will search high and low for the ones I had and give them to you since I NEVER used them (bought them in anticipation of needing them for Brady, but never did)!
