I have a few things that I have a pretty intense fear of running out of. Whenever I'm at a store I usually pick this up, whether I need it or not because surely all stores could disintegrate at any instant, or I could break both legs and lose contact with the outside world, leaving it impossible for the quick errand to Walgreens for such necessities. Here are some of them:
1. Paper towels
2. Diapers (I will still probably buy these when I don't need them anymore just because it feels safe).
3. Toilet paper
(okay, so far I'm not doing much good for the Earth)
4. Bananas
5. Body wash / lotion
6. Diet Coke
7. Garbage bags
8. Laundry detergent (intense fear. The thought of laundry piling up increases my heart rate)
9. Toothpaste
10. Glass cleaner (two words: dogs & kids)
What do you fear running out of?

wipes!!! two times last week I was caught with an empty pack of wipes at inopportune moments and it was NOT pretty! (and bananas too!! That is Bray's go-to food!)
Totally with you on 2, 3 and 4. And the wipes, Renay.
I buy paper towels and detergent (and dishwasher detergent) at Sam's Club, so no worries there about running out.
I have an intense fear of running out of orange juice (concentrate), the two cereals we eat tons of (Quaker Oat Squares and Multi-Bran Chex) and milk. I need a second fridge so I can feel safe with the amount of milk we keep in the house.
Matt just said an inappropriate answer. Guess.
You know us - coffee and creamers. Why do 2 people need 5 bottles of creamers in the fridge at all times?? Because I love to have options and it just comforts me! I could not drive to work without a hot cup of coffee :)
The weekend rocked and I can't wait to see the new carpet!
Toothpaste, Listerine and floss. I'm with Jamie, in that I am one person who goes through one tube of toothpaste in about two months (or slightly less), but I have two backups just in case! And I buy the industrial sized Listerine.
i'm w/ you on 1-4 and baby wipes. i also always buy pineapples, salsa and tortilla chips.
omg karen, i have had this conversation with my girlfriends and it always cracks me up! i buy diet pepsi (no-brainer) tp and detergent every time i go to the store, really every time.
Everytime I go to the store I buy epsom salts. I love soaking in a bath tub full of epsom salts. Soooo good for sore muscles. Mmmmm. Just the other night I was soaking in the tub with candles lit and Tony came up, walked in the bathroom and said "Um, am I invited to this?" lol.
why does everyone fear running out of bananas? what am i missing?
I'm totally with you on the wipes but they're for Mike!! :):)
