Weekend Wrap Up

Paige's sleepover party was a success! She had a door sign indicating which room the party was in (Pardee Heeer), movie snacks, High School Musical 3, and sleeping bags. The next morning she had thank you notes for each us for attending her shindig. I think it definitely satiated her desire to throw her very own party! Cousins Riley and Renee joined us for the movie part:In other news, we were going to watch a VHS movie the other day. However, when Rich tried to play it, it would stop and power off. After several tries, we realized maybe the VCR had bit the dust. Then Saturday Paige found another cassette she wanted to watch. I reminded her that the VCR might be broken, but let me look closer to see if there was anything obvious wrong with it.
The fact that this play CD was shoved in the back might have had something to do with it. Now, we've had 3 kids and this is the first time I have had to extract something from the VCR. We believe the guilty party is the 10 month-old in the house. But note the tool used. This is a hemostat, usually used to stop blood from flowing in vessels during surgery. It has countless uses and should be a staple in every household. They're, like, 8 bucks. I'm just saying.

Paige is adorable! I'm so happy that the party was a success.

I so need one of those hemostats!!! It would have been useful when 1. Aiden shoved about 7 Cds into the computer and 2. When Aiden broke the Wii by shoving a ninteno disk into it (stop me if you've heard this one before, right?!)

That party looks like some cozy, good fun! I love parties in jammies. Paige has a future in party planning, once she gets a handle on that whole spelling thing (however, I love her excellent use of phonetics!!)
