What I've Learned in the Recent Days

  1. No, we didn'get away with my having that horrible cold without anyone else catching it. It's just an incredibly slow mover costing Paige 3 days of school.
  2. While Cole can pull himself up to standing in his crib (see previous post), he cannot ease himself back down. Therefore, those cries are no longer protests to naptime. Rather, I believe the translation would be, "Mom, I'm standing and I can't sit down!" :(
  3. Touring pop-up campers creates an instant flashback to childhood vacations that makes me want to throw caution to the wind and make this unnecessary purchase!!
  4. My 6 year-old continues to have the highest score on Wii Fit downhill ski jumping, despite Rich and my attempts to beat it late into the night.
  5. Will's definition of "wet toot" far exceeds that of mine. I would call that a straight up accident.

1. I'm sorry!

2. I believe this would be the opposite of "I've fallen and I can't get up." What a conondrum.

3. Oh, the pop-up camper. Worth every penny. Just remember the awesome times you had as a kid and think about that when talking yourself out of it!

4. Rock on, Paiger!!

5. Oh, William. Please never stop making me laugh on Monday mornings.
