Something On All Three

PAIGE: I love the innocence and freshness with which children look at others. There is no stigma, no stereotypes. Paige was explaining an aid at school who was working with her on math in the hallway. She said, "She had dark brown skin and a gem in her nose and one of those things around her head. And she talked with an accent. She was so beautiful." Obviously describing a woman of Middle Eastern descent, I thought that was beautiful.
WILL: Was a rockstar in his Mighty Mites Sports class today! Granted, cousin Riley and friend Logan are in there, too, but he showed signs of confidence before they even arrived...and had a great time! He is also getting great at letter and sounds and even sounding letters out. Here he is doing these great word puzzles (from my friend Nicole).
COLE: Tops both of the other kids with his climbing/standing skill at 9 months. Keep in mind the other two weren't even army crawling at this age! Cole is climbing out of his high chair, pulling up on furniture and standing in his crib! Yes, this makes for more work, but it's so darn cute seeing such a little body do these things!

Cute comments about all of them!

Funny that your third is doing all of this earlier...JH does EVERYTHING later. By months. But, he's much more of a climber than the other two and it's more work than I realized making sure he doesn't break his neck everyday.

Great Post!! The Paige story was refreshing!! I bet you are so relieved about Will - that rocks. And Cole looks so happy with his new levels of freedom - what a cute pic!

That was the sweetest story about Paige's description of the pretty lady. I love it that she sees the beauty.

I'm so glad to hear that William is loving his MM class. Good for him!

Cole. Would you look at that face? Just look at it and try not to smile. I dare ya!

Anonymous is me. I published prematurely. I hate when that happens. Sorry!

Okay, what kind of stalker freak posts THREE comments on the the same blog post? Um, yeah...that would be me.

I was re-reading this and I read the part about Cole climbing out of his high chair. The first time Kelly did that, she was eating lunch and I went around the corner to grab a load of laundry out of the dryer. I came back around the corner and she is standing on the seat of her high chair, leaning forward with her arms out in "catch me, Mommy!" form. I about had a stroke. Laundry flying, mommy in slow-motion speaking whale ("NNNnnnnn-ooooooo"), and her looking at me like "what? isn't this SO fun?" Thanks for the myocardial infarction, kid! :)
