Kid Grow Update

Wednesday, January 7, 2009
So though I post daily, I feel the need to record a little synopsis of where each of the kids are now at the very beginning of 2009:

PAIGE
  • Still loving school and doing well in it
  • Starting to read with better ease
  • Taking a Poms class through the high school this week with a final performance at the varsity basketball game on Friday night. THIS. IS. COOL. There once was a time when I complained that kids don't understand the meaning of hurrying and being on time. She has been dragging ME out the door this week!!
  • Party animal with a huge soft side for her brothers
  • Minus two teeth; getting 6-year molars
  • Already asking for a cell phone

WILL

  • Totally spurted out of his size 3T clothing
  • A train track-a-holic
  • Becoming even more of an artist
  • Starting to bond with baby brother
  • Needs to nap more often :)
  • Signed up for a sports camp class (fingers crossed that he digs this one)
  • Overly generous with his proclamations of love

COLE

  • Super speedy army crawler, moving towards actually crawling
  • Top two teeth just poked through (with bottom two aleady here)
  • Becoming less rigid about his routine
  • Two words: Cheerio lover
  • Eighteen and a half pounds
  • Out of his infant carrier (wah. no more baby)
  • Being tested for possible allergies
  • Thinks brother and sister are hilarious

OH, I love this entry. Although I knew most of that info - it's so fun to recap and read it in list form like that!!

Each one sweeter than the next. I don't know how you don't just grab them and squeeze them every 6 minutes. I hope Will loves the sports camp, too! Too bad they don't have a Mr. Conductor Camp!!

here's an idea! when i worked at blackberry farm we did theme birthday parties. they offered a train themed birthday party where they get to learn all about them, get a train whistle and ride the train a few times! the conductor also talks to all the kids! just a suggestion! super fun!
