At 3:43 am on Christmas Eve six years ago our first child and only daughter was born. It was a day with great winter weather, similar to recent weather we've had. And it was the most amazing day of our lives to that point. Since then Paige has brought us such incredible joy.
She is always rearing to go (and usually a couple steps ahead of me) and has the ability to strike up a conversation with everyone from children younger than her to the old bald bus driver. She is absolutely filled with love and compassion for others and animals (and even inanimate objects such as the snowman she and Will built today). Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious and she loves to laugh. Her age and matruity has brought her to a time when "hanging out" with her goes beyond just a parent and child relationship. She is just fun to be around.
I'm amazed at the full personality she already has at age six and look so forward to what the next years bring! Happy birthday, Paigey!
And now I will get to work as it will be a busy house tonight with a tooth fairy (we lost tooth #2) AND Santa visit! Phew! A very blessed holiday to all!

Happy Birthday, Paige! I really enjoy reading about the cute, loving, "big sister" things you do, as well as all the "little lady" activities you like!
I hope you, Will, & Cole--and mommy & daddy--have a very Merry Christmas tomorrow!
Happy Birthday, sweet girl! I'll never forget getting that call from your mama, telling me you were here (and as exciting, the call where we discovered we were both having December babies!). Hope it was a fun, fun day for you. And tooth #2? Luke is going to freak out.
Merry Christmas!
Oh - this post was so sweet. It's nice to take time to really reflect on the past 6 years in addition to all the joy we presently have!!
happy (late) birthday!
