Weekend

Sunday, November 23, 2008
It was a pretty uneventful weekend (which I love) that involved some Christmas shopping and tending to the kids with colds in the household. Paige and Will are to the ages that colds don't disrupt the daily routine too much. Will is suffering with congestion, but he's a champ at blowing his nose when necessary (but still working on getting the saturated tissues to the wastebasket).

Cole, on the other hand, started out congested and was handling it well, but now has quite a wheeze and rattley cough. Because it sounded suspicious enough, he is now on an antibiotic. This brings me to my invention. I'm thinking we need some sort of mini vacuum for babies that don't know how to clear their own noses. Not those little aspirators; I'm talking something with a motor...something that can just clean 'em up and let 'em sleep. I'll work on the prototype.

Three more days until I allow myself to play Christmas music!

I agree, Karen. Something along the lines of those little mini-blowers the computer guys use to blow dust out of things, only in reverse. With a kid-sized, nose- friendly attachment, of course! (Note to self: brush attachment PROBABLY not needed...)
