Family Games

Tonight while doing dishes and wanting to stall the kids so they wouldn't bug Rich (on the phone for work) I suggested we play "I'm going on a trip to the moon." You say that and then choose something you're going to bring. Then each person adds, while listing what each previous person has said. Paige was very good and got addicted instantly. Will was pretty good for a while (with assistance), but then got more concerned about who was going to fly the spaceship and what we could use for the steering wheel. Priorities.

Then we played "My father owns a grocery store," a game that takes me back to the campin' days with the fam. It's a guessing game where you mention the starting letter and others need to guess what it is. This was more difficult since Paige spells phonetically. (Cereal starts with "s", right?). But it was still quite fun!

Haven't included a pic in a while - I'll have to get on that and look for a photo op tomorrow!
